Cristiano Ronaldo breaks another World Record Guinness

Despite the passage of time, Cristiano Ronaldo’s presence continues to not only captivate his fans but also inspire them to follow in his footsteps. This time, away from the soccer field, the Al Nassr star has set a new Guinness World Record.


CR7 is making his last appearances in professional football, in this case delighting fans in the Saudi Pro League. Despite he radically changed European leagues for the Arabian culture, the Portuguese striker is still breaking nets and now he is one goal away from the 900 in his professional career.

Not only that: in his last match against Al Feiha, the former Manchester United, Juventus and Real Madrid scored another free kick goal, and now he is only one goal away from tying Lionel Messi’s free-kick goals (65).

All this statistics currently make Cristiano Ronaldo one of the most consistent football players in the world, and he is definitely trying to still improve his numbers. His records are not only being shattered in the world of soccer, as CR7 continues to make waves with every step he takes in his career.

While throughout his career the Portuguese forward has shattered every soccer-related record in his path, this time, his accolade is not specifically related to football.

Simon Ekpa hires American lobbyist to advance Biafra’s cause in the United States

Simon Ekpa, a controversial Biafra agitator, has hired an American lobbying firm, Moran Global Strategies (MGS), to advance agitation for the independent state of Biafra. Mr Ekpa, based in Finland, heads Autopilot, a faction of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). IPOB is a separatist group agitating for the creation of an independent state of Biafra from south-east and some parts of south-south Nigeria. The two regions are usually called “Biafra” or sometimes “Biafra land” by IPOB and other separatist groups in the area. Heavily armed Policemen late Wednesday night invaded the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Headquarters, Abuja, commonly known as Labour House. Though details of the invasion is still sketchy, Vanguard gathered that the stern looking policemen stormed the Labour House some few minutes to 9 pm and ransacked both the Second and 10th floors. A source told Vanguard that “Comrades, armed security men, both in uniform and mufti just invaded the Labour House in their numbers and were at the 10th Floor and 2nd Floor. “They broke into second floor and ransacked books at the bookshop carrying all the materials into their van claiming that the materials were used to incite and organize the recent protest.”

During a recent interactive session posted on X Sunday, the ‘Ome Ope’ singer said that while he can sing in English, he prefers to sing in his native dialect, Yoruba. Speaking further, the singer emphasized that he cannot change who he is to become someone else. Nandap made this known on Tuesday in Abuja during a combined news conference by the heads of security agencies and Service Chiefs convened by the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa, at the Defence Headquarters. She said, “We have identified some diaspora sponsors; they are on our watch list. “We will be notified of any attempt they make to enter the country, and they will be picked up and handed to the appropriate authority.” The immigration boss said the service had, in response to the protest, deployed more officers to borders, both land and airports, to ensure effective manning of those entry ports.
